The world’s largest golf club, the 22-course two-resort Haikou property will open a hotel, shopping and entertainment project on the tropical island of Hainan, China. Mission Hills features 10 golf courses built on a bed of lava from now extinct volcanoes. The resort will collaborate with Lan Kwai Fong to add 300 high-end shops, Ritz-Carlton and Renaissance hotels, and an USD158 million movie theme town, scheduled to open for the 2014 Lunar New Year.
