New Zealand luxury lodges, The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers, and Matakauri Lodge, have launched ‘The Tiger Tour 2013’, the ultimate New Zealand experience.

The tour begins on 11 March 2013 at Cape Kidnappers and includes nine nights’ accommodation across the three properties in Hawke’s Bay, Queenstown and the Bay of Islands, with private jet and helicopter transfers included.

INSIDER ACCESS TO HONG KONG

Hong Kong’s trendsetting, Philippe Starck designed J Plus Boutique Hotel has launched an ‘Insider Access Card’, providing guests with an ‘insider’ ticket to the city. The access card allows hotel guests to enjoy priority admission to Hong Kong’s hottest private members’ clubs as well as special privileges and discounts at hip restaurants, bars, fashion and lifestyle stores, and exclusive spas and salons. The card is presented to guests on check in and is valid throughout their stay at the hotel. J Plus Boutique Hotel was re-launched earlier this year under the new ownership of CSI Properties Limited, the parent company of luxury lifestyle residential developer Couture Homes. The hotel has 56 guest rooms, suites and studios which resemble trendy apartments. The hotel also has a Michelin-star restaurant, The Drawing Room.

RADISSON BLU FIJI INCLUSIVE

Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island has launched its first all-inclusive group package which includes return Air Pacific airfares from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or Auckland, return transfers and three nights’ accommodation with breakfast daily. Prices start from AUD995 pp.

Full day delegate packages can be added from AUD45 pp including room hire and catering while additional nightly rates for an extended stay start from AUD168 per room inclusive of breakfast.

The Maldives’ Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa teaches children about essential coral reef conservation, has a coral nursery, resident marine biologist and glass-bottom kayaks. There are also cooking classes, s’mores on the beach and campfire treats. Their ‘Family Special package’ is valid until 9 January 2013 and includes four nights’ accommodation in a luxurious villa. Families can also choose the Dining by Design occasion, complete with a private chef and butler or ‘grown-up time’ with complimentary babysitting.

SYDNEY’S NEWEST DESIGN HOTEL

QT Hotels & Resorts has announced the latest in its luxury portfolio collection, QT Sydney, will open its doors in September this year.

QT Sydney is the only Sydney hotel to be a member of the exclusive Design Hotels group. The property is set above the State Theatre and old Gowings building on Market & George Streets, and features a completely restored exterior embracing the latest technology, while retaining the historical features of the building. The 200 rooms all have different quirks and nuances adding a sense of intrigue to the guest accommodation.

Other properties currently in the portfolio for QT Hotels and Resorts include the QT Gold Coast and QT Port Douglas, with more hotels flagged to open in the next two years.
